2/14 Spring Fundraiser

Troop 349 has adopted mulch as its main revenue source.

3 sq yd bags of Merrifield hardwood mulch will be delivered, and placed for the home owner.

Each scout will sell a share of the mulch and help with its delivery. Scouts receive a portion of the sales in the form of scout bucks that they can use for various activities the troop engages in during the course of the year. That amount is determined by the troop first meeting its financial needs and then by using what’s left. That amount will be announced after the final sale but is based on how much each scout sells and if he has participated in all facets of the fundraiser.

Each scout will be given a packet of sales forms and instructions, each sale from will need to be filled out completely and handed in with all sales forms (checks are fine and need to be made out to Troop 349) or that scouts order will be considered incomplete and will not be part of the final delivery. Scouts will hand in their packets in the first week of April and delivery will take place the weekend of April 14th-15th 2012 from 9:00 am through 2:00 pm both days (Sunday will be optional and used if needed). Delivery takes place rain or shine.

Dates to remember:

  • Packet distro: 2/14/2012
  • Door-to-door sales: 2/15/2012
  • Mile stone sales checks will be conducted at troop meetings on: 2/21, 2/28, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27
  • Packet hand-in: 4/10/2012
  • Delivery: 4/14-4/15/2012 from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm (Sunday 4/15 will be a back up to the 14th, same times)
  • Sales totals announced Tuesday April 17 at the troop meeting
